About Us

At Kidz Space we contribute to the local community by providing high quality affordable childcare, in a happy safe and stimulating HOME from HOME environment. Where children are able to build new friendships and learn and develop freely through play. We offer inclusive service that is accessible to all children in the local community. At Kidz Space we work by the 8 playwork principles, they establish the proffessional ethical framework for playwork. We pride ourselves on our highly qualified and experienced staff. We observe and record children's development through play, and lof the information in a play journal We aim to help children develop through play, encouraging independance and confidence. We are committed to meeting not only the needs of the children but those of the parents/carers to. We aim to become a highly recognised establishment around the city representing play and play work, making everybody aware of our job roles and the skill involved.

Where We Are

The club operates 5 days a week from St Matthias church hall on North Hill. It is a very large space which enables children to run and lay freely. We have access to an indoor stage and fully fitted kitchen area. The location is central which is ideal for working parents in the city during school holidays, we also have access to 2 very local parks which the children enjoy visiting on many occassions.
